1966 Excalibur Roadster. One of only 87 cars ever built , with who knows how many left ? In other words : RARE ! And , desirable too lately ! People are starting to find out it's a Brook Stevens designed , factorybuilt car and there were quite a few famous guys ( like Steve mcQueen for instance ) that owned one at the time. A great and rudimentary powerful beast with the looks of an old Mercedes SSK ; it does'nt get a whole lot better..This particular car is a true barnfind as you can see. We did'nt even attempt to clean 'er up , and what you see is what you get. Motor ( 327 cu. V8 ) runs great , and clutch and tranny work fine. Brakes need work. Original , true knock off wirewheels. The car is all there , including top , topframe ( usually gone ) luggagerack , sidecurtains , tonneaucover etc. Low miles. ( 37K ) A great and easy car to fix at a very reasonable salesprice. Google other Excalibur Roadsters for sale from that period , and you'll end up with askingprices starting from the $50's to the $60's.
